This is why I love the placidus house system in astrology. While Jupiter just moved into Gemini, last night, under the placidus system, my 11th house begins at 5 degrees 25 minutes of Gemini, instead of zero degrees under the Whole House Method. Therefore Jupiter is still in my 10th house ruled by Taurus and will be there until June 17. That extends Jupiter in my house of career and making money another 3 weeks.
This past 12 months I've seriously put energy toward another way of earning a living in alignment with my heart and purpose. I enrolled in a 3 year formal study of astrology and slowly created my astro-portal coaching business. Preparing tax returns is something I'm very good at but it doesn't light me up, like astrology and coaching do and besides that, my hands and wrists hurt after so many hours on the computer during tax season.
The other day, I met up with a friend who is dedicated to protecting families through a new kind of financial vehicle - one that is disrupting the life insurance industry. I thought, wow, maybe I could do that! As a CPA, I understand the benefits and necessity of life insurance and I've had tax clients who sold insurance and earn residual income during their retirement years. As a single mom, I invested in my kids and myself but not in a 401k and I'm sorely lacking resources for my own retirement.
When I realized, Jupiter is still in my 10th house supporting prosperity and abundance in my career area, I accepted to work with my friend and her amazing team disrupting the insurance industry - so Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius trine Jupiter!
This will also allow me to keep my rates for astro-portal coaching accessible to reach as many women as possible, not only those who can afford high hourly coaching rates.
